In response to the directives of the Home Leader President Bashar al Assad, the General Establishment of the Syrian Railways has adopted a programme for administrative and economical reform for the tasks and activities of the Establishment with its human and financial capabilities and furnishings available in the transport of goods and passengers inland and across its borders. This reform programme the Establishment aims at building strategic visions which show the prestige of Syrian Railways in the economies of transport in the Middle East, through the serious trying for increasing the contribution of the Establishment in forming the local yield in Syria by increasing the transport capacity and improving its fleet of locomotives, coaches wagons and wagon tanks, to reach the completion of the Railway connection cross roads of the regional and international railways networks.

Syria) has been established. Its location is in Syrian Railways in
Aleppo, its aims is to be connected with UIC and exchange
information and informatics' technologies on the one hand, and with
data banks available in the field of railway transport sector on the
other hand.

frame of the Establishment's continuous trial to exploit the
information technology in the method it submits its services, within
its strategies in development and modernization a portal of Syrian
Railways on the international net (Internet)has been established to
be a window for communicating with the exterior world through
specialized softwares that serve various functions in the
Establishment and allows for the website user to deal with the
services means submitted, through the participation in the tenders
and calls for offers advertised within the project of the
Establishment, and the exchange of the relevant documents. As well
as checking with the time schedules of international and domestic
trains appointments, browsing the visitors record, the newspaper of
the Establishment in relation to its news with their pictures about
